Aldi stores in the Triangle have great deals this week on produce, including cucumbers, avocados, celery, mushrooms and mini sweet peppers. There are also nice prices on take-and-bake pizzas -- just in time for Super Bowl viewing.

Aldi shopping tips:

Aldi does not accept coupons or provide bags. Bring your own reusable bags and a quarter to rent a cart. Your coin will be returned when you return the cart to the corral near the front door.

This week's top deals:

Cucumbers: 29 cents each. Great price.

Avocados: 59 cents each. Another great price.

Celery: 79 cents per bunch.

White mushrooms: 79 cents for an 8-oz. package.

Organic baby carrots: $1.29 for a 1-lb. bag.

Mini sweet peppers: $1.49 for a 1-lb. bag.

Organic grape tomatoes: $1.79 per pint.

Deli take-and-bake pizzas (12-16-inch): $4.49-$4.99.

Salsa (24 oz.): $1.49.

Peanut butter (16-18 oz.): $1.69.

Peanut butter (40 oz.): $3.49.

Wednesday meat special:

Tyson St. Louis spareribs: $1.99 per pound.

73% lean ground beef chub: $8.99 for five pound.
