Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Minnesota Twins have signed pitcher Matt Guerrier to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.

Guerrier made 393 appearances, all but three out of the bullpen, for the Twins from 2004-10. He signed a three-year, $12 million contract with the Dodgers as a free agent in 2011 and was traded to the Chicago Cubs last July before a flexor tendon injury ended his season in August.

The 35-year-old right-hander underwent surgery after posting a record of 4-4 with a 4.01 ERA in 49 games for the Dodgers and Cubs last year.

Guerrier has a career mark of 27-34 with a 3.51 ERA and six saves in 528 games with the Twins, Dodgers and Cubs.
