WENDELL — A Mount Holly man faces methamphetamine-possession charges, the third person police have arrested in the same case.
Michael Dean Giggey, 24, of 1548 Old Hwy. 27, was arrested early Thursday morning after what began as a shoplifting complaint at a Sheetz convenience store on Wendell Boulevard.
Giggey was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession with intent to sell it, possession of other prescription drugs and possession of a counterfeit controlled substance with intent to sell it as a controlled substance.
Giggey was being held in lieu of $75,000 bail for an appearance in front of a judge Friday.
Wendell police also charged Aaron James Peedin, 21, and Angela Michelle Cogan, 22, who told police they live in an apartment at 3915 Marcom St. in Raleigh.
Cogan faces the same drug charges as Giggey and a charge of maintaining a 2006 Kia as a place to keep and sell drugs.
Peedin was charged with possession of meth, possession to sell it and with misdemeanor larceny and was being held on $25,500 bond.
Cogans bail was set at $50,000, and Wake County Sheriffs Office records indicated Friday that she had been freed.
