Boy Scout builds cabin beds at Umstead State Park

Daniel M. Wheeless of Raleigh has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

For his Eagle project, Daniel led the construction of cabin beds for Umstead State Park.

Daniel, a senior at Broughton High School and son of Mark and Sara Wheeless, is a member of Troop 353 at St. Paul’s Christian Church in Raleigh.
