A team of Riverside High School engineering students earned a Most Creative Design award and helped support the Food Bank of Central & Eastern N.C. and Housing for New Hope with their participation in the Creative Food Drive in Durham last fall.

The team from the Durham school collected food donations, then designed a structure they called “Oceanside” and used the donations to build it.

On the team were Justin Castillo, Gillian Wensell, Corey Hillman, Ben Bartnik, John Kish, Miles Webb, Victor Chi, Hannah Glisson, Brennan Pitts, Jordan Anderson and Harry Schrickx.
