Raleigh police ask for help in finding missing 68-year-old man

From staff reportsFebruary 4, 2014

— A Raleigh family has not seen a 68-year-old Raleigh man since Jan. 27, and police asked Monday for the public's help in finding him to make sure he is OK.

William J. Yates, who is black and stands 5-foot-7, was wearing a black hoodie and brown pants when relatives last saw him where he lives, in the 400 block of Top Greene Lane, police said.

The department asked that anyone who knows where Yates is or believes they may have seen him since Jan. 27 call the police department’s tip line at 919-834-HELP (4357).
