Another big week of wedding events is on tap for Triangle brides-to-be. Here are the details:

• Locals can get a first look at gowns from Vera Wang’s fall collection during a trunk show Thursday through Saturday at Alexia’s Bridal Boutique in Raleigh. Gowns will be available in white and ivory, with prices starting at $3,000. To schedule an appointment, call 919-829-5900.

• Brides can create their own custom gown by Nashville designer Olia Zavozina during a trunk show at Traditions by Anna in Raleigh. On Friday and Saturday, customers can choose their neckline, train, color and more in the designer’s gowns, priced from $2,500 to $6,000. To reserve an appointment, call 919-783-8652.

• Victorian Rose Bridals in Cameron Village will have the latest styles from designer Tara Keely for a trunk show Friday through Sunday. To make an appointment, call 919-833-1898.

• Couples registering at Belk Crabtree will get the chance to win a Marchesa gown, $2,000 worth of Carolee jewelry, Belk gift cards and more during the Engagement Party 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday. First Friday party

Downtown Raleigh men’s shop Estate Boutique celebrates First Friday this week with an appreciation party from 6-9 p.m. The event, which celebrates the store’s customers, as well as local artists, will feature music, refreshments and a 30 percent discount on purchases. Macy’s Go Red

Macy’s will hold its annual Wear Red sale to raise funds and awareness for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign.

Through Monday, shoppers who wear red will receive 20 percent off most purchases (with some exclusions). Macy’s also will sell red dress pins for $2, with proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association Go Red for Women Campaign.
