Raleigh police ask help in identifying two in larceny and fraud case

— Police are looking for a man and woman who they think lifted a woman's wallet from her purse in a grocery store and used one her cards at a bank.

Surveillance photos from the grocery store show the two – a white woman with long, dark hair wearing a dark jacket and a black man, nearly bald and with a mustache, wearing a blue, pullover sweater.

The theft happened Jan. 21, police spokesman Jim Sughrue said.

If anyone has information that might help detectives find the two, police want those people to call Raleigh CrimeStoppers at 919-834-HELP (4357)or go to the CrimeStoppers website for text and email reporting options.
