Raleigh attorney Warren named bankruptcy judge for Eastern District

David Warren, an attorney with Poyner Spruill in Raleigh, has been appointed to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Warren took the oath of office Friday. The position is a 14-year appointment.

He replaces Judge J. Rich Leonard, who retired last summer to become the dean of Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Warren will be based in Raleigh.
