Scout creates display of police patches

Austin G. Vojtko of Garner has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

For his Eagle project, Austin collected patches from more than 200 police departments in North Carolina and built a case in which to display them at the Clayton Police Department.

Austin, the son of Jeremy and Dana Vojtko and Pam Jackson, is a freshman at Garner High School and a member of Troop 24 in Clayton.
