Teens assist during N.C. Senate session

February 9, 2014 

Tavon Holland and Alberto Lopez of Raleigh and Benjamin Prescott McNair of Fuquay-Varina served as pages in the N.C. Senate during its session last year.

Pages serve for one week, attending Senate sessions and committee meetings and assisting staff members with clerical duties.

Tavon, a student at Middle Creek High School in Cary and the son of Leroy Grice and Tammy Ray, was sponsored as a page by Sen. Daniel Blue.

Alberto, a student at Leesville Road High School in Raleigh and the son of Alberto and Elodia Lopez, was sponsored by Sen. Norman Sanderson.

Benjamin, a student at Grace Christian School in Raleigh and the son of Bruce and Barbara McNair, was sponsored by Sen. Ralph Hise.
