Coastal NC residents balk at higher ferry tolls

Speakers at an NCDOT hearing in Pamlico County on Thursday, Feb. 6, were harshly critical of the legislature's push to start collecting tolls on four ferry routes that now are toll free, and to set higher rates on three ferries that collect tolls now.
