Police charge pizza delivery man with statutory rape

— A Raleigh man is accused of having sex with girls aged 13 and 14 years old whom he met while delivering pizzas, according to an arrest warrant.

Sharka Anthony Holmes, 22, is listed on an arrest warrant as a resident of 2750 Wolf Village Way, Apartment 115F, though an arrest report describes him as a resident of 2310 Quailridge Drive in Fayetteville. He is charged with four felony counts of statutory rape.

The warrant accuses of Holmes of having sex with two different girls – one 13 and one 14 years old – on Jan. 22 and Jan. 23. He was held Tuesday at the Wake County Detention Center in lieu of $2 million bail. The name of his employer was not immediately available.
