Raleigh man accused of cruelty to Rottweiler

— A Raleigh man is accused of treating a Rottweiler cruelly.

Police arrested Ronald Lee Matthews, of 2105 Spin Cast Place on a misdemeanor charge of cruelty to animals.

An arrest warrant accuses him of denying a black and tan Rottweiler of proper food, water, medical care and sanitary living conditions.

Matthews, 45, was held Wednesday at the Wake County Detention Center on $1,500 bond.
