— And for the second time in eight days, North Carolina and Duke are scheduled to play at the Smith Center. It’s sunny and warm here in Chapel Hill today, so I’m confident we’re not looking at another historic postponement.

Some links:

-- A story on North Carolina freshman forward Kennedy Meeks, whose 23-point performance at Florida State on Monday night was part of months of ups and downs, gains and losses. What’s it like when your body and your image is the first thing people talk about when they talk about you? Meeks opened up a bit about that.

--From Duke beat reporter Laura Keeley, a story from the Duke side of things. The Blue Devils had less than 40 hours to get ready for the game tonight and, oh yes, there’s a game on Saturday against No. 1 Syracuse, which endured an unseemly loss against Boston College on Wednesday night.

--A column from Luke DeCock, who writes that while UNC and Duke aren’t at the top of the ACC standings, that does little to diminish game’s the meaning.
