Boy Scout builds path and labyrinth

Kirby Shane Cook of Cary has been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

For his Eagle project, Kirby designed and built an outdoor labyrinth and a path leading to it and to a nearby outdoor chapel on the grounds of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Durham.

Kirby, the son of Christopher C. and Wendy Cook, is a senior at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh and a member of Troop 334, which is sponsored by St. Timothy’s School and Church in Raleigh.
