Raleigh police arrest two men in deadly shooting

— Police arrested two suspects early Sunday morning in the Feb. 18 shooting that killed a 26-year-old Raleigh man.

Dudley Lamar Kee, 29, and James Keith Nelson, 23, were taken into custody without incident at a motel in Petersburg, Va., according to a Raleigh police press release. Both men face a murder charge and are awaiting extradition.

The victim, Marcus Rashad Owens, died Friday. He was shot shortly before midnight Feb. 18 at 2626 S. Saunders St., a strip mall called Davis Plaza. Police say the shooting stemmed from a disagreement that escalated.
