Braves agree to 1-year deals with 19 players

Lake Buena Vista, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Atlanta Braves and 19 players have agreed to terms on one-year contracts, the team announced Tuesday.

Among the players were 11 pitchers: right-handers David Carpenter, Cory Gearrin, David Hale, Juan Jaime, Aaron Northcraft, Wirfin Obispo and Anthony Varvaro; and left-handers Luis Avilan, Ryan Buchter, Carlos Perez and Alex Wood.

Catchers Evan Gattis and Christian Bethancourt also agreed to deals. The other players were infielders Ernesto Mejia, Tyler Pastornicky and Elmer Reyes; and outfielders Jose Constanza, Todd Cunningham and Joey Terdoslavich.

Financial terms of the deals were not released.
