Scout’s project enhances school’s athletic fields

Parker Wesley York of Raleigh has reached the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

For his Eagle project, Parker led other Scouts in building three benches and two large planters by the satellite athletic fields at St. David’s School in Raleigh.

Parker, the son of Phil and Louise York, is a freshman at St. David’s School and a member of Troop 395, based at White Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh.
