Scout builds donation boxes for local nonprofit

Christian North of Raleigh has reached the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

For his Eagle project, Christian led a team of Scouts in building donation boxes for Note in the Pocket, a local nonprofit that provides clothing to Wake County schoolchildren in need.

Christian, the son of Chuck and Christine North, is a junior at Raleigh Charter High School and a member of Troop 332 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Raleigh.
