Heat sign Liggins to second 10-day contract

Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Heat have signed guard DeAndre Liggins to a second 10-day contract.

Liggins has appeared in one game with Miami since being signed on Feb. 25. He had two points and one rebound in a 124-107 win against Charlotte on March 3.

The University of Kentucky product was selected by Orlando in the second round of the 2011 draft and played 17 games for the Magic that season. He appeared in 39 games for Oklahoma City last year and has averaged 1.6 points with 1.2 rebounds in 57 NBA games.
