Raleigh man jailed on prostitution charge

— Police have charged a 34-year-old Raleigh man with arranging for prostitution with a victim with a mental disability.

Raymond Lamont Sharp of 3306 Pine Grove Road was in Wake County’s jail Sunday with bail set at $75,000. His arrest warrant said he provided transportation to a Super 8 motel, rented a room and took the majority of the money.

The victim has been judged incompetent by Wake County Human Services, magistrate’s records said.
