St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - The St. Louis Blues announced Sunday that forward Vladimir Tarasenko is scheduled to have hand surgery next week.

The procedure will be performed Wednesday and the 22-year-old Russian will be re-evaluated in six weeks.

Tarasenko injured his hand during Saturday's 4-1 win at Nashville.

The 2010 first-round pick has 21 goals and 22 assists in 64 games this season.

To fill the roster spot, the Blues recalled forward Dmitrij Jaskin from Chicago of the American Hockey League.
