Jefferson, Griffin named NBA Players of the Week

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Charlotte Bobcats center Al Jefferson and Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for the period ending March 16.

The Bobcats cruised to a 4-0 record behind Jefferson, who averaged 24.3 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. He also posted double-doubles in three of the matchups.

Griffin led the Clippers to a 4-0 week while averaging 27.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game. He tallied at least 20 points in each game.
