Federal authorities have joined the search for a 15-year-old North Carolina girl who hasn’t been seen for more than a week.

The FBI office in Charlotte said on Wednesday asked the public’s help in finding Danielle Locklear, from the city of Hope Mills in Cumberland County, near Fayetteville.

Authorities say the teen left home in the early-evening hours of March 11 and hasn’t been seen since. Danielle, a student at South View High School, lives in the Fox Meadow/Brook Ridge subdivision.

The FBI said the missing teen is bi-racial, with black hair and green eyes. She is 5 feet 1 and weighs 150 to 160 pounds.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Hope Mills police, at 910-425-4103, or the FBI in Charlotte, 704-672-6100.
