Former Duke basketball star and former aide to President Barack Obama Reggie Love will be giving radio interviews in Raleigh and Miami on Thursday, part of the White House’s final push to get people signed up for health care in the last 11 days before the March 31 deadline.

The president also will be talking about signing up for health coverage in an interview on the nationally syndicated sports radio show “The Herd” with Colin Cowherd and in an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday.

The administration is using social messaging and sports to try to get young, healthy people signed up for health insurance. The website GamePlan4Me.com features Kobe Bryant, CC Sabathia, Victor Cruz and other athletes talking about it.

The site links to the website for shopping for health insurance plans, healthcare.gov. So does the White House Web page with Obama’s March Madness bracket. www.whitehouse.gov/acabracket
