Lincolnton police say they are looking for a man who allegedly posed as a podiatry student and sucked the toes of a female shopper this week in a Walmart store.

Investigators said a man entered the store about 11:15 a.m. Monday, approached the woman and said he was a podiatry student.

The two began a conversation, police said, and the man talked the woman into trying on several pairs of shoes.

At one point, police said, the man held the woman’s foot, put it in his mouth, and sucked her toes.

Police said the man’s image was captured on surveillance video as he left the store.

Police are asking that anyone with information in the case contact detectives at 704-736-8900 or call Crime Stoppers, 704-376-8909. Steve Lyttle
