Who’s Hot/Who’s Not

HOT

Carl Edwards: Welcome to the Chase Winner’s Club.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr.: Earned his career-best Cup finish (second).

Aric Almirola: Earned his career-best Cup finish (third).

Kyle Larson: A second in Nationwide race Saturday and first top-10 in the Cup race – a solid weekend.

Kyle Busch: He should receive some sort of partial ownership in Bristol Motor Speedway with his NASCAR-best 16 wins across three national series at the track.

NOT

Dale Earnhardt Jr.: He can’t finish first or second every week, right?

Kevin Harvick: For the second consecutive race, he failed to realize what appeared to be great potential for a victory.

NASCAR: An explanation was needed for the errant late caution and NASCAR had one – it just took too long to get to the right one.

Martin Truex Jr.: Still waiting to catch a break.
