Mrs. Gregory Michael Kuruc

Anna Elizabeth Pelone and Gregory Michael Kuruc were married on March 22, 2014 at six o'clock in the evening at Hayes Barton United Methodist Church in Raleigh. The Reverend Rick Clayton officiated. Following the ceremony, the parents of the bride hosted a reception at the North Hills Club. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at MacGregor Downs Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. William Michael Pelone of Raleigh and Ms. Denise McCann Pelone of Harrisburg. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. James Carlie McCann of Harrisburg and the late Mr. McCann and the late Ms. Susan Northrop Pelone of Fayetteville and the late Mr. Francis Wheeler Pelone of Charlotte.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Paul Kuruc of Cary. He is the grandson of Mrs. Charles Michael Downing of Cary and the late Mr. Downing and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Andrew Kuruc of Bethlehem, PA.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Alexandria Nicole Pelone of San Francisco, CA and Catherine Maria Pelone of Raleigh, sisters of the bride, served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Jordan Forrister of Nashville, TN, Courtney Leigh Godwin of Washington D.C., Eliza Hannon Norton of Raleigh, and Erin Kuruc Wallace of Ft. Leavenworth, KS, sister of the groom. Annabel Avery Powers, Eliza Atlantic Powers and Lillian Amity Powers, of New Orleans, LA served as junior bridesmaids.

Michael Paul Kuruc, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were George Tyler Bowery of Charlotte, Daniel James Herbst of Portland, OR, Tyler Henderson Knowles of Raleigh, Ryan Joseph Misjan of Nuernberg, Germany, David Justin Oliver III of Greenville, and CPT. Paul Richard Wallace of Ft. Leavenworth, KS, brother-in-law of the groom.

The bride and groom are graduates of North Carolina State University. The bride is employed by Sageworks in Raleigh. The groom is employed by Kane Realty Corporation in Raleigh.

Following a honeymoon trip to Sea Island, GA the couple will reside in Raleigh.
