Southwest Wake 4A shows spring strength in N&O rankings

The Southwest Wake 4A dominates the top positions in four of The News & Observer’s five spring sports high school rankings.

Apex is No. 1 in boys’ lacrosse and softball. Panther Creek is tops in girls’ soccer and Holly Springs leads in baseball. The Cap Eight 4A’s Wakefield is the top-ranked team in girls’ lacrosse.
