    Aldi does not accept coupons or provide bags. Bring your own reusable bags and a quarter to rent a cart. Your coin will be returned when you return the cart to the corral near the front door.

Aldi stores in the Triangle have great deals this week on avocados, asparagus, tomaotes and baby spinach. Organic grass-fed ground beef is the Wednesday special.

This week's top deals:

Avocados: 69 cents each.

Organic baby carrots: $1.49 for 1-lb. bag.

Asparagus: $1.69 for 1-lb. bag.

Tomatoes on the vine: $1.69 for 24-oz. package.

Lemons: $1.89 for 2-lb. bag.

Spring mix or baby spinach (5 oz.): $2.49.

Canned chunk tuna (5 oz.): 69 cents.

Organic canned black beans (15 oz.): 89 cents.

Light string cheese (10 oz.): $2.69.

Wednesday meat special:

85% lean organic grass-fed ground beef: $4.49 per pound.
