Michael Pollan coming to Raleigh

Bestselling food author Michael Pollan is coming to Raleigh on May 16.

Michael Pollan, author of the bestselling “Omnivore’s Dilemma,” will be speaking at 7:30 p.m. May 16 about his latest book, “Cooked: A Natural History of Transformation.”

The event will be held at N.C. State University’s Hunt Library Auditorium and is being co-sponsored Raleigh’s Quail Ridge Books & Music and the N.C. State University’s Friends of the Library. Pollan’s last event in the Triangle sold out.

Here are the details on how to get tickets: you can get one free ticket with the purchase of “Cooked,” in paperback or hardcover, at Quail Ridge. With the purchase of a book and ticket combination, one can buy up to four additional tickets for $5 each. No tickets are available without the purchase of the book.
