In my daily hunt for good deals, Im always scouting for freebies to share with readers.
Coming up this week and next, the freebies are plentiful everything from free food and drink to free workouts in downtown Raleigh.
Most are free for the asking no strings attached. Two more are your reward for doing a good deed.

A complimentary caffeine fix
Treat yourself to an iced coffee on Monday its on the house at Dunkin Donuts.
Customers at participating Dunkin Donuts locations will receive a free 16-ounce cup of double-brewed iced coffee.
Drink it straight, or add one of eight flavors: French vanilla, hazelnut, toasted almond, blueberry, coconut, cinnamon, caramel and raspberry.
Not to be outdone, McDonalds will offer a free cup of java each morning or stop in later and enjoy a free iced coffee through April 13, starting Monday, at participating Triangle and Sandhills-area McDonalds. No purchase is necessary.
Frosties help foster kids
For a $1 investment, Wendys fans can treat themselves to a free Jr. Frosty through August.
Purchase a Frosty key tag for $1 and youll be entitled to free frozen treats every time you make a purchase at a Wendys .
The tags are on sale at participating Wendys through mid-April or while supplies last.
Proceeds from the key tags go to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, an organization that helps find homes for foster children.
Free fitness classes
Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in April, O2 Fitness is hosting free outdoor fitness classes.
Show up at 6 p.m. on the turf at City Plaza in the 400 block of Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh.
Throughout the month, youll be able to try a range of exercise workouts, from boot camp-style classes to yoga and Zumba. Come to one class or try all 14.
Give a book, get a meal
Donate a childrens book to kids in need and the PDQ restaurant chain will reward your good deed with a free meal.
The chain, which has locations in Raleigh, Cary, Durham and Wake Forest, will accept books Wednesday through April 6 for the benefit of local Boys & Girls Clubs.
In return, youll receive a coupon for a free combo meal on your next visit.
Ben & Jerrys giveaway
Grab a free ice cream cone on April 8 at Ben & Jerrys ice cream shops an annual rite of spring.
The chain has given away scoops since 1979. No purchase required, but expect long lines.
Ben & Jerrys has two shops in Raleigh, one in Durham and one in Chapel Hill.
