Sabrina Renee Jones of Winston-Salem, NC and Samuel Smith Lentz, Jr. of Greenville, NC were married on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. The Reverend Reginald Hunt, friend of the bride, and The Reverend Diane Knauf officiated. Following the ceremony, the father of the bride hosted a reception at The Pavilion at the Angus Barn.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. James Wendell “Duke” Jones and the late Mrs. Brenda Sorrell Jones of Raleigh, NC. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Smith Lentz of Winston-Salem, NC.
The bride was escorted by her father. She was attended by her sister, Katrina Jones Rogers of Chapel Hill, NC, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Tremblay Crider of Wake Forest, NC; Melanie Williams Daryani of Durham, NC; Sarah Margaret Efird of Winston-Salem, NC; Byerly Gallion Graves of Raleigh, NC; Marcella Caruso Haisten of Chattanooga, TN; and Amy Bowers Heit of Durham, NC.
Samuel Smith Lentz, father of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Jay Thomas Briley of Wallace, NC; Thomas Lipscomb Coleman Brooks of Jacksonville, FL; Thomas Foster Haselden of Charlotte, NC; Joshua Benjamin Jones of Spartanburg, SC; Joseph Ryan Lentz of Charlotte, NC; Jonathan Paul Palma of Menlo Park, CA; and Edward Taylor Shipley, III of Wilmington, NC.
Scripture readers were Kathleen Dellinger Moose of Winston-Salem, NC and Cynthia Goodrich Kuhn of Falls Church, VA. The greeter was Katherine Cannon Haley of Arlington, VA.
The bride received a Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marymount University.
The groom graduated from Davidson College with a Bachelor of Arts and received a Master of Healthcare Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He currently works in strategic planning at Vidant Health in Greenville, NC.
After a honeymoon trip to the French Polynesian islands, the couple will reside in Greenville, NC.
