Cary police identify man found dead at laundry

Police are investigating the death of a man found Saturday lying face-down on the floor at a coin-operated laundry.

A worker found the body of Eriberto Bosques, 31, of Cary inside the Wash Tub Laundry at 101 Reed St. about 9 a.m. and called police, a town spokesman said. Cary police are calling Bosques' death suspicious.

The cause of death is undetermined pending an autopsy by the medical examiner's office.

“Our investigation is ongoing, and we’re asking anyone who may have information to call the Cary Police Department,” said Criminal Investigations Lt. Steve Fonke.

Anyone near the area at the time of Bosques' death is encouraged to contact the Cary police at (919) 469-4012 or file a report anonymously with Cary Crime Stoppers at (919) 460-4636.

Crime Stoppers pays up to $2,500 for the arrest or indictment of those responsible for committing certain types of crimes. All calls will be kept confidential at the caller's request.
