Inmate walks away from, returns to minimum-security facility in Orange County

— Law-enforcement agencies are no longer looking for an inmate who escaped from the minimum-security Orange Correctional Center - he returned to custody late Monday night.

Kenneth Lussier, 40, walked away from an outdoor work assignment in the town of Hillsborough at about 5 p.m. Monday, according to the Department of Public Safety, but turned himself in around 11:30 p.m.

Lussier, 40, is serving 12 to 15 years because he was convicted of larceny, felony breaking and entering and as a multiple felon. He also now faces escape charges.
