New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - San Antonio's Gregg Popovich and Brooklyn's Jason Kidd have been named the NBA's Coaches of the Month for March, the league announced Tuesday.

Popovich guided a Spurs team that's currently riding a franchise-record 18- game win streak to a perfect 16-0 mark in March, with 11 of those victories coming by 10 or more points. San Antonio eclipsed the 100-point mark in 13 of those wins.

Kidd directed the Nets to a Eastern Conference-best 12-4 record in March to earn his second Coach of the Month honor this season, having also received the award in January. Brooklyn went 9-0 in home games during that stretch and also came through with a 96-95 road win over the defending league champion Miami Heat on March 12.
