Cool Spaces: The Best New Architecture (UNC-EX) - This series about contemporary architecture (look away, Oakwood Modern House!) seeks to explain what architects do and why it’s important. The show focuses on the most provocative and innovative public spaces in North America, so it’s no surprise that today’s episode features a look at the Hunt Library at N.C. State. (An episode airing next Wednesday will visit the Gantt Center for African Arts and Culture in Charlotte.) The air times are on UNC-TV’s digital channel UNC-EX (The Explorer Channel) as follows: 9 a.m., 4 p.m., 2 a.m. (4/10) and 9 p.m. (4/10). Get more info at www.coolspaces.tv.

Nova: Inside Animal Minds - Bird Genius (9pm, UNC-TV) - An examination of the mental prowess of birds includes a cockatoo that can pick locks, a wild crow focused on an eight-step puzzle and a raven that can solve a puzzle box so fast that high-speed photography is needed to document it.

The 100 (9pm, CW) - Clarke and Finn grow closer as they try to communicate with the Ark.

Chicago PD (10pm, NBC) - Voight and the team investigate a gang-related case involving several deaths and millions of dollars in stolen cash. Meanwhile, Burgess helps the unit in an effort to prove her worth.
