Raleigh man accused of selling dope, LSD to undercover ALE agent

From staff reportsApril 9, 2014

— Arrest warrants served on a Raleigh man Tuesday charge that a customer to whom authorities say he was selling marijuana and LSD was, in fact, a state Alcohol Law Enforcement agent.

Anthony Robert Bushnell, 24, of 2703 Club Links Drive surrendered to authorities at the Wake County Detention Center when he learned that agents had taken out warrants charging him with five counts of selling marijuana, five counts of possession with intent to sell and one count each of possession of LSD and of selling or delivering it.

The warrants charge that Bushnell sold the agent amounts of marijuana ranging from 6.9 grams to 28.2 grams in February and March.

The LSD charges involved five doses of the hallucinogen, the warrants said.

A magistrate set Bushnell’s bail at $50,000, noting he has no criminal record and had turned himself in.
