All lanes of Wade Avenue reopen after car takes out power pole

— All lanes of traffic have reopened after an accident Thursday morning closed Wade Avenue between Glenwood Avenue and St. Mary's Street because of downed utility lines hanging over the street, according to a press release from the Raleigh Police Department.

Westbound lanes remained closed until work to replace a utility pole was completed in the 3 p.m. hour.

There were no reports of injuries in the accident, which was reported about 7:15 a.m.
