Statistically speaking: Women small-business owners are optimistic about 2014

Eighty seven percent of women small-business owners are optimistic about their company’s 2014 economic outlook and 89 percent are optimistic about overall business performance, according to a State of Women-Owned Business’ Report by the National Association of Women Business Owners. Here’s more from the report.

90% Women small-business owners whose biggest concern for 2014 is gaining new customers.

81% Owners who are concerned with keeping existing customers.

69% Owners who are investing in customer service in 2014.

79% Owners who plan to invest in social media this year.
