Rain postpones NC State - UNC baseball game

Due to a line of storms, Tuesday's baseball game in Durham between N.C. State and UNC has been postponed. A make-up date was not immediately scheduled for the game, which was to have been played in the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

N.C. State started the baseball season with so much confidence; there was talk of a parade to celebrate the national title. After Sunday’s collapse against Duke, there’s only confusion for the Wolfpack, which was looking to rebound Tuesday against the Heels. Read more on NC State's outlook here.

At UNC, the team has encountered struggles including uncharacteristically poor hitting and fielding among them. The Tar Heels (21-15, 9-9), who won two of their three games against Wake Forest last weekend, rank in the 80s nationally in the RPI and are in danger of missing the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2001.
