Batman, Spiderman and Iron Man made a surprise appearance on Wednesday, April 16, rappelling up and down the windows of WakeMed Children's Hospital. This is the second year that WakeMed window washers - from Scottie's Building Services - were superheroes for a day, fighting "grime" and cheering up young patients. Pediatric patients that felt well enough (and their families) gathered in the Children's Hospital lobby at 11 am to see some of their favorite superheroes up close. These superheroes also made special drops for kids that needed to stay in their rooms.
