Martha Millichip, 44, a wife, mom and part-time cooking instructor at Whisk in Cary, needed an intervention.

“After 8 years as a stay-at-home mom, and five of the last 10 years living outside the U.S., I feel completely out of touch with what a work-appropriate wardrobe is,” she wrote in asking for a makeover. “I need at least an interview ‘wow’ outfit and to get myself kitted out for work on a limited budget.”

I showed her an option for looking crisp and efficient for interviews and stylish on the job.

“It was such a pleasure meeting everyone and a treat to have a day as a model,” she wrote after her photo shoot. “Everyone should get to be the center of attention.”
