Frank Livingston: Corners needed

April 25, 2014

Regarding the April 24 news article “ NCSU’s round building nears an end”: Harrelson Hall, the round, quirky, impractical building on the NCSU campus is obviously the result of what happens when an architect decides to “cut corners.”

It must have been confusing for the mathematics department to hold classes in a round, pie-shaped building when it is teaching that “pi r square(d).”
