Raleigh man faces marijuana trafficking charge

— Drug investigators who charged a Raleigh man Sunday afternoon with trafficking said he had 12.7 pounds of marijuana.

Jarvis Michael Bastian, 38, of 508 S. Person St., was arrested at U.S. 1 and Wake Forest Road, according to an arrest report.

Raleigh police charged him with trafficking in marijuana and with maintaining his South Person Street condominium as a place to store or sell drugs.

Bastian was being held in lieu of $75,000 bail Monday pending a court appearance.
