Greensboro man identified in fatal Durham motorcycle wreck

— The State Highway Patrol has released the name of a man who died in a motorcycle accident on Davis Drive on Friday morning.

Randall Lamar Gregg of Greensboro , 44, was killed when he failed to stop for a stop light and hit a tractor-trailer truck on Davis Drive near Interstate 40, according to the Highway Patrol. The accident happened about 9:30 a.m.

The truck, driven by Kevin Shearin of Nashville, was traveling south on Davis Drive and made a left turn onto the entrance ramp to eastbound I-40 as Gregg, 44, was traveling north on Davis Drive, according to the Highway Patrol. Gregg’s motorcycle struck the side of the truck’s trailer.
