Edward H. Williams: Ignorance is bliss

In your April 25 editorial, “To educate the world,” you stated, “How many of our nation’s lives and how much of its treasure are spent fending off groups and governments sustained by ignorance?” To paraphrase that statement: How much of the well-being of the people of our state is sacrificed and how much of our state’s treasure is spent supporting a government sustained by ignorance?
