Mrs. Patrick Sheldon Campbell

Miss Margaret Allen Albertson and Mr. Patrick Sheldon Campbell of Raleigh, North Carolina were married February 1, 2014 at five o’clock in the afternoon at First Presbyterian Church in Richmond, Virginia. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Mary Kay Collins.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Elam Albertson of Richmond, Virginia. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Carl William Schoenweiss of Norfolk, Virginia, the late Dr. Horace Allen Albertson, and the late Mrs. Joseph Patterson Lawson formerly of Roanoke, Virginia.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Sheldon Campbell of Wilson, North Carolina. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sheldon Campbell of Asheville, North Carolina and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Simmons Williams of Sims, North Carolina.

The bride was escorted by her father. Sister of the bride, Emily Stewart Albertson of Washington, DC, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Clary Angus of Richmond, Virginia, Caroline Nicole Hutcheson of Washington, DC, Lori Gaines Byrd, Kara Kathleen Peach and Lauren Daniel all of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Calvert Elizabeth Coley of New York, NY.

Karla Jacquelyn Campbell, sister of the groom, of Clifton, Virginia and Mackenzie Harkins of Houston, Texas were scripture readers. Elizabeth Glynn Gilbert of Richmond, Virginia served as flower girl. Guest book attendant was Margaret Moncure Clary of Richmond, Virginia.

The groom’s father, William Sheldon Campbell served as best man. Groomsmen were Dana Paul Boyette and Stephen Frank Koster of Raleigh, NC, Julius Johnston IV of New York, NY and Brian Edward Gillooly of Clifton, Virginia.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at The Country Club of Virginia on the James River. On the eve of the wedding the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Lemaire in the The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. A cocktail party was held in the Rotunda following the rehearsal dinner, given by friends and family of the groom and his parents.

The bride is a graduate of Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with degrees in Public Relations and Spanish. She is employed as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative with Forest Pharmaceuticals.

The groom is a graduate of James B. Hunt High School in Wilson, NC and received a degree in International Studies from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He is an independent equities and derivatives trader.

The couple make their home in Raleigh after a honeymoon in Mexico.
