— Police at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill have distributed a photo of a man they want to question in connection with a break-in at the Carolina Inn and a stranger entering a dorm behind a student.

Police did not disclose what was taken from the inn Saturday night, but they said the man they are looking for may be carrying a Carolina Inn laundry bag.

The man is described as black, 20 to 30 years old, and wearing a UNC baseball cap, dark blue windbreaker, blue jeans and a white T-shirt.

Friday night, the man was roaming the lobby of Craige Residence Hall, police said.

At one point, he asked a student about getting a taxi ride, the student went to find a resident adviser and the man left the building.

Police asked anyone with information that might help them locate the man to call 919-962-8100.
